VISIT THE PARKS

ROUTE INFORMATION: From Visalia / Highway 198, take Highway 63 north and enter Sequoia & Kings Canyon national parks via the Highway 180/ Kings Canyon entry gate to maximize your time in the park during planned road improvements. Intermittent closures or delays along the Highway 198 entrance from Hospital Rock to Giant Forest Museum may limit access to the Giant Forest and General Sherman Tree between April 29-May 23, 2024. The national parks will remain open to visitors during the construction period, expected to take 4-8 weeks. Read more about the best driving routes.
