VISIT VISALIA TO HOST "DENIM & DIAMONDS" MD4 CON

Visalia, Calif. (Dec. 02, 2019) – Visit Visalia announces California Lions Club Multiple District 4 (MD4), Lions International will host their Denim and Diamonds conference at the Visalia Convention Center and Marriott Hotel on February 21-23, 2020. 

The 101st California Lions Convention, themed “Denim and Diamonds,” provides as an opportunity to highlight leadership and service. Council Chair Don Gall will be presiding and Third Vice President Patti Hill will be the Honored Guest and keynote speaker. The event will also include California Lions Foundation Awards, Peace Poster Awards and a Sunday service by Council Chaplain District Governor Claudia Miller. 

“We are honored that MD4 Con has chosen Visalia as the host city for 2020,” said Visit Visalia Executive Director Nellie Freeborn. “The California Lions Club MD4 is an esteemed organization, and we look forward to welcoming them in Visalia.”

Conferences choose Visalia for its walkable downtown, including many restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. The city has become known for its small-town hospitality with larger city amenities. Conferences attendees are invited to stop by the downtown Visitor Center, at 112 E. Main Street, for excursion itineraries, maps and additional information.
