Visalia Offers California Wildfire Respite

Visalia, Calif. (Nov. 6, 2019) – Over the past several weeks, California has been impacted by wildfires across the state. Our hearts go out to all affected, and we recognize that many travelers may be worried about maneuvering California during this time. Visalia is not currently impacted by any fires or planned power shutoffs. Our lights are on and the air is clear, and we remain open to provide a safe haven and adventure.

Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Visalia provides easy access to Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks. The city offers quaint shops, historic sights, local museums, farm-to-table cuisine and more. For more information or with questions, please contact the Visit Visalia office at requests@visitvisalia.com or (559) 334-0141.
