IT'S A GIRLS WEEKEND GETAWAY

Call the girls and set a date because no one gets you quite like your girlfriends. We have suggestions from the perfect cocktail to the best shopping. So make a plan to get away with your closest gal-pals and reconnect. Here's our suggestions for a perfect weekend.

Friday:

Stay - Book your stay at one of the many hotels in Visalia. All are well located, with friendly staff ready to welcome you for your weekend stay.

Meet - After Checking into your hotel, meet at the Vintage Press Restaurant for Social Hour in the Rose Room. From 5-6 pm, complementary appetizers are served. Then treat yourselves to an elegant 5 star dinner with crisp white linens and impeccable service.

Live Music - Are you ready to put the work week behind you? Barrelhouse Brewing hosts live music on their large stage. Karaoke night also happens every Thursday night at The Wine Buff.

Saturday:

Coffee - Head to Component Coffee Lab or Mission Coffee where locals go to get their fix. Great coffee and strawberry donuts that are truly divine!

Local - The Saturday Visalia Farmer's Market is more than just fruit and veg. You will find local honey, cottage foods and goods, pop ups and food trucks.

Shop - Visalia Vintage & Antiques, Envie, Joshua Tree and Apricot Lane are just the start of some great shopping boutiques you will find in Visalia.

Sip - Gather at Bistro Di Bufala and order a cocktail in their speakeasy. Order fresh-made pizza to pair!

Dine - Crawdaddy's 2nd floor is a fine dining experience or stay downstairs for a more casual meal. Either way, stay for the dancing!

Sunday:

Stretch- Join in on a yoga class and re-center yourself. The Space allows walk-ins.

Eat- Sunday brunch on the Elderwood Rooftop at The Darling Hotel! Mimosas with a view? Can't beat that!

Float- Kaweah Lake is a short drive from Visalia and offers Patio Boat rentals. This is a great way to finish off the weekend: a relaxing cruise around the lake. Pack a picnic, then set your sights on the spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. This is straight girl time before heading home refreshed, recharged and relaxed.
