IT'S A GIRLS WEEKEND GETAWAY

Call the girls and set a date because no one gets you quite like your girlfriends. We have suggestions from the perfect cocktail to the best shopping. So make a plan to get away with your closest gal-pals and reconnect. Here's our suggestions for a perfect weekend.

Friday:

Stay- Book your stay at one of the many hotels in Visalia. All are well located, with friendly staff ready to welcome you for your weekend stay.

Meet- After Checking into your hotel, meet at the Vintage Press Restaurant for Social Hour in the Rose Room. From 5-6 pm, complementary appetizers are served. Then treat yourselves to an elegant 5 star dinner with crisp white linens and impeccable service.

Dance- Are you ready to put the work week behind you? Wine the night away at Blend Wine Room before heading to the Cellar Door for music and dancing. Yay! It's Friday!

Saturday:

Coffee- Head to Component Coffee Lab where locals go to get their fix. Great coffee and strawberry donuts that are truly divine!

Local- The Visalia Farmer's Market is more than just fruit and veg. You will find local honey, cottage foods and goods, pop ups and food trucks.

Shop- Visalia Vintage & Antiques, Envie, Joshua Tree and Letter & Grain are just the start of some great shopping boutiques you will find in Visalia.

Sip- Gather at Jack and Charlie's and order the 'Punch Bowl' to share. But first, take a pick with the British phone booth out front.

Dine- Crawdaddy's 2nd floor is a fine dining experience or stay downstairs for a more casual meal. Either way, stay for the dancing!

Sunday:

Stretch- Join in on a yoga class and re-center yourself. The Space allows walk-ins.

Eat- Sunday breakfast at the Butcher and Baker in another local favorite. It's not fancy, just really good.

Float- Kaweah Lake is a short drive from Visalia and offers Patio Boat rentals. This is a great way to finish off the weekend: a relaxing cruise around the lake. Pack a picnic, then set your sights on the spectacular views of the Sierra Nevada mountains. This is straight girl time before heading home refreshed, recharged and relaxed.
