THE HOW-TO'S OF A FUN WEEKEND
FRIDAY-
STAY
There are lots of hotel options to choose from including the Wyndham Hotel, next to Plaza Park, a great place for a little rivalry football! The Wyndham Hotel makes a great home base for a weekend with the guys!
EAT
Get the weekend started with a delicious and casual Mediterranean meal and a great local craft beer at Pita Kabob Gastropub in downtown.
DISCOVER
While not a formal Ale Trail, downtown is home to several brew pubs worth exploring like BarrelHouse and Brewbakers. All within walking distance from one another.
SATURDAY-
GAME ON!
Valley Oaks Golf Course is ready for you! With three classic 9-hole layouts, two traditional and one links style, you might not stop playing! Carts are available to rent.
DINE
Choose Jack & Charlie's for dinner. This restaurant feels like a speak easy and is housed in the old jail. Imagine the Dalton Brothers escaping! Talk about the ultimate guys trip!
CIGAR LOUNGE
Sequoia Cigar Company has a large selection of cigars as well as a lounge to enjoy them in.
ENTERTAINMENT
The Cellar Door on Main Street is a great place for live music. It showcases an eclectic mix of music and entertainment.
SUNDAY-
FLOAT ON A BOAT
Lake Kaweah is a great place to recharge. Rent a patio boat (some hold up to 18 people!) and enjoy the sunshine. Fish off the side, swim in the cool water and just hang with the guys- all with a view of the Sierra Nevada mountains!
Or take in a day-game of the Visalia Rawhide baseball at Rec Park, home of America's Largest Cowbell!
PIZZA
It wouldn't be a guys weekend without pizza at. But not just any pizza- how about a 'Thai Pie' or 'The Yeti'? And with corn hole and other games, The Planing Mill is the place to be.
