Things are firming up nicely for our 18th Annual Woodies in the Valley show, which IS scheduled for Friday thru Sunday, April 26, 27, and 28.
Friday night (5-8 p.m.) will find us gathered at our local A&W for a drop-in "Eat, Meet & Greet". The address is 2611 S. Mooney Blvd. Several of our members and guests will be up for a little musical "jam session" afterwards, so make sure you show up at A&W for details. Dress warm and bring your folding chairs, as this will be outdoors.
Our woodies-only car show will take place on Saturday from 8:30-2 on the Redwood High School campus (1001 W Main St). Immediately following the show, we will take off on our traditional cruise, taking us through some great ag country, seeing some quaint countryside and towns along the way. We have a VERY special reprise visit (from several years ago) to one of the most awesome Chevy collections out there. There's also a rumor that a certain A&W "Floatmobile" may make an appearance there as well.
Saturday night you may either join us for a group dinner at a local restaurant or go out on your own and enjoy one of our many awesome dinner venues in town. For those staying until Sunday, we will be having our famous "Farewell Breakfast" with the Blains.
We have negotiated a $139 room rate with Comfort Suites (559-738-1700) and rooms ARE still available. Unfortunately all of our Visalia Marriott rooms have been taken. However, Comfort Suites will continue to offer their special "Woodie Show" pricing until they run out.
